AGM Minutes

1. Call to order: 10:41 am
2. Attendance: Kris, Brent, Knud, Bill, Trudie, and Charlane
3. Adopt Agenda: Jason first, Rick second
4. Review and Adopt minutes. Risk first, Mary second
5. Reports from Board Members:

A. President Kris We have a new website designer from Moose Jae who is doing a fantastic job. We will also be getting a new email address. We are part of the oral health professionals, 90% doesn't pertain to us, but it's good to be kept in the loop with other dental professionals. We may have to wait for 3 to 4 years before we are out under the umbrella act of Bill 18. They are doing dome of the larger groups first. We are still not a part of Cadtr, but we are getting the information and emails. They are focusing on Forgein workers. 1st Rick 2nd Jason.

B. Vice President: Brent Cave It's very hard to get speakers for the education days with such a small number members. We will look into our own membership for speakers. 1st Kristen 2nd Rick

C. Treasurer: Bill Submitted financial reports as stated. Bill and Doug have worked very hard with social services to get a raise in their rates. We got 5% on April 1s, 2% on Nov 15t, 2% for 2027 and 2028. For a total of 11%. We need to crack down on the late payments. We also changing banks on Monday May 4th 2026

D. Knud Ce points. A large amount of members have zero points. We are in the middle of the three years that we need 24 ce points. Need to discuss points for travel as a bonus. 1st Rick 2nd Kurt E. Trudie Registrar 69 members, 5 inactive and 3 students. 1st Jason 2nd Charlane. F. Education Ramon We and one student write the practical, Brandon Furber passed.

6. Education day. We need a day set aside so we can all get together and talk shop. We will get better ideas from each other than reps trying to sell us something. Kristen to set up an ortho course. Use our members instead of reps.

7. Out dated exam. Our main focus this year is to update the exams. Jason and Knud to follow up.

New Business

A. Change into a college. Our in hold for a while, the govt is working with larger groups first.

B. Website design perhaps put a forum in for technicians to ask each other questions. And to put a form for attendance to courses for ce points.

8. Certificates Brandon Furber was not in attendance but he received his certificate already.

9. Elections: we have one opening on the board.
